John is one of our newer members who has been volunteering for HVAC since June 1997.  In January 1998 John attended the PA EMT course hosted by Northampton Community College.  John responded to over 100 emergency calls with the ambulance corps in 1998.  His dedication to the residents and those who pass through Lower Nazareth Twp. on a daily basis is what it takes to keep volunteer organizations like HVAC operating.  In addition to emergency calls, John and the other members of the ambulance corp. attend weekly training sessions on every Monday night.  Also there is general maintenance to be done throughout the month to keep the new building looking new.  John was recently appointed as the building trustee. He is responsible for the up keep of the building and stocking supplies.

Born June 3, 1975, John has been raised in this area for most of his life.  He currently lives in Bushkill Twp., PA  He attended Nazareth Area High School and graduated in 1993.  John then atended three semesters at Northampton Community College before joining the work force.  Currently John works for Suburban EMS in Palmer TWP, PA as a paid EMT.  He is also a sergeant for the US Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer, assigned to the 744th  MP BN. in Bethlehem, PA.  John is also trained as a firefighter, municiple police officer and vehicle rescue technician.  John has also been a volunteer with Hectkown Fire Co from 1994 to 1998 and Bushkill Twp. Fire and Ambulance from 1991 to 1993

In his spare time, John enjoys bowling, listening to country music on Cat Country 96 (nice plug) and playing his Sony Playstation at the ambulance building waiting for the enevitable call.
